Picture Prayers – Anita T.

I have a picture in my head that I am praying by now. I love picture prayers because it is so specific. My picture is a big rock that is my Jesus, my cornerstone. Around it is arranged small stones. Each one depicting family and friends who know me, and love Him, and their prayers to Him. Outside that circle are stones that are small but not as small as pebbles but these stand for all the people in this whole world who don’t know me but are still keeping me in their prayers. I have always loved picture prayers. You wouldn’t believe the miracles that have happened because of it. If it’s not too amusing for any of you, give it a try. Not just my picture but your personal pictures. Maybe some of you do it already and that’s great. So it is a three concentric circle pattern with the biggest rock in the centre. Maybe, think rock instead of stones. Stones are too small. Changed my picture to rocks. The smallest to the biggest in the centre.

One of my dearest friends once asked me to pray for her husband who didn’t get a visa to visit his sister in another country, suffering from Stage 4 breast cancer, (by God’s Grace she is still alive). Then he came to another city, trying to apply from there. There wasn’t much of a chance because he was rejected once, and if he didn’t get to see his sister, he would have gone into depression. So I told my friend to earnestly pray with the picture of her hubby hugging his sister, and keep concentrating on that picture as she prayed, because that was the answer to this specific prayer. He got his visa so easily. So it was a miraculous prayer.

Just a glorious way to pray and I want more people to use the option of praying like this. Maybe many people do and have or haven’t shared it. That’s their choice. But my choice after the answers to my personal picture prayers need to be shared with you.
