CRESSING TEMPLE BARNS near Witham, Essex, UK.

The wheat barn, in the foreground, and the barley barn, behind, are both thirteenth-century structures in origin, though reframed and reroofed before the end of the Middle Ages, and are among the oldest and largest medieval barns in the world. The infill between the studs would originally have been board not brick.
