1 Kings 11:4 – For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.

God, I pray my treasure will always be in You and not in my possessions or the distractions of this world. Help me to never make an idol out of anything or anyone, or put them before You in any way. I give You honor and gratitude for all the good things You have given me. You are my greatest desire, and I put You above all else in my life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

HUMBLED IN HIS PRESENCE

1 Kings 8:27 – But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

Dear Lord, I thank You for Your presence in my life. I am thankful and humbled that You—through Your Holy Spirit—live inside me. Help me to never be full of myself, but rather to always be freshly filled with more of You each day. Help me to have a sense of Your presence, especially as I read Your Word and pray and live in obedience to Your ways. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

THE IMPORTANCE OF CONFESSION

2 Samuel 24:10 – And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O Lord, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

Lord, I pray You would show me any sin in my life so that I can confess it before You. I don’t want guilt in my conscience to dilute my walk with You or inhibit my prayers because I am ashamed to come before You in cinfidence. Help me to always have a repentant heart before You so that I will quickly turn away from sin. Keep me from doing foolish things. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Thank You, for touching the heart of your people through the messages You sent through me. Thank You, for opening the eyes of their spiritual understanding. Thank You for filling me with courage, patience, and divine wisdom to step forward and do the extra miles. Thank You for leading and filling me with Your Holy Spirit as i humbly and strongly depend upon Your strenght to do my tasks. Thank You, for helping me stay in tune with You all day so I can do my work diligently and effectively. Thank You, for making me a willing vessel so I could do my divine duty and responsibility to fulfill Your purpose into the lives of Your beloved people. May You continue to bless me with extra phisical, spiritual, and mental strenght and good health, as I work hard daily to win more souls for Your kingdom. This I ask and pray in Jesus name. Amen.

WHEN GOD DOESN’T ANSWER

1 Samuel 28:6 – And when Saul enquired of the Lord, the Lord answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

God, I thank You that You always hear my prayers. Give me the patience to wait for the answers to come in Your way and in Your perfect timing. Give me peace to accept Your answer—even if it is no. Help me to never take matters into my own hands to try to make something happen that is not Your will. I trust that You know what is best for me at all times. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
