The Story of With – by Allen Arnold

cover

This is “The Story of With,” in our ‘story of without,’ in a world where we cannot see the realization of our dreams or experience the awesome presence of God. This allegory leads us into the exhilarating freedom of letting God into our lives, empowering us to dream new dreams and envision fresh goals. This is a Story of More. It transports us to a new realm of deeper identity, stronger intimacy, and imaginative creativity with God. We will enjoy the presence of God in a closer walk with God. Delve deep to discover your true identity, in the right place, at the right time, to find the real you.

The Story of With creatively fuses allegory with application to offer a delightfully new perspective of renewed hope and refreshing vision, as you enjoy the glorious wonder of a life bathed in the glory of God. This story will fuse the iron in your soul and give you a personal understanding of who you are – a unique child of the King. Do you thirst for more? Does an indescribable ache tug at your heartstrings, as your heart desperately cries out for something more?

Are you ready to pay the cost? There is always a cost. Have you reach the end of yourself? Is there a glimmer of hope in who you can become, a grain of truth in what you see? Can God make all things new in your life? God is your Father. You are His child. Do whatever you do with God. Chart a better path. Begin anew. Don’t build your own kingdom. Use your God-given power to care for others. You yearn for more. Seek and you will find. The strength we seek might be hidden in our dreams, desires, and creativity. Awake it for God’s glory.

Did God place a homing device inside us to lead us back to Him? Reorient yourself. You are unique and creative. The DNA of God pulses through you. His eternal spark is in you. He created you with interests leading to your God-ordained destiny and truer self, to open the door to freedom. Your God-given gifts, interests and talents are a gateway to discover your true identity. Don’t limit what’s possible with God to what’s humanly probable. See with new eyes that your current reality is not the only reality. There is so much more on the horizon. The sky is the limit. Fly to it. An ocean awaits you. Swim to it.

Walk through each day, knowing who you are and how your identity connects you to your life. Taste a sense of expectancy, as the unknown leads to unimaginably great things. Step into creativity with God’s unlimited power.

Staring Down A Plane – The Story of With – by Allen Arnold

“A normal workday turned into a case of man versus plane, at a time when airport security was far less than it is today. Otherwise, it may have been the last story of my life.

I was on a business call as I awaited my flight when I looked up to see the boarding area completely empty. I ran to the gate. “I have to get on that plane. I have an important meeting and my video crew is already on board.”

“Your seat has been given to a standby passenger,” the attendant said. “The plane has already left.”

I looked through the large plate glass windows behind her at the runway. “Turn around and look,” I pleaded. “The plane is right there. I’ve got to get on it.”

“You’re too late. You missed it,” she said and walked away.

Where others would have conceded defeat, I was undeterred. I took a deep breath, pushed open the emergency exit door to the tarmac, and walked toward the runway as the alarm blared. I approached the small commuter plane, unsure what would happen next. I didn’t have to wonder long. The pilot barged out of the plane, straight for me.

His bewilderment was no match for my singular determination to board the plane. Minutes later, the standby passenger was escorted off. The video crew couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed. “Dude, you stared down a plane and it blinked first.” I found the open seat and started reading a book, victorious and oblivious to the havoc I’d caused for everyone on the flight. Against the odds, I had made it happen. Now let’s get this flight going.”
