Let the times pass over you,
like the clouds that cross the face of the sun
as they smile and frown
and leave shining and shadow in their wake
upon your face,
with caresses
of gold and glowing,
and see what He will spin within
the silks of your soul,
the fibres of your being,
which emanate and mesh with DNA of Divine tapestry
There is no waste in this place
so give space
don’t hold on but let go,
and let the leaves of aspen
applaud your stirred breezes

Green woods wave, welcoming a friend,
Fresh leaves pattern and skip:
Spring lambs in shades of autumn,
Roses charm adventurous eyes.
The sea, blue and penetrating,
Grips sight in a vision,
Drifting white fringes
Foaming at its hem.
White sails hoisted aloft
Play games with gawking gulls,
And the arched sky rules in royal blue
High overhead in magnificent splendour,
Over drifts of softly-blown clouds.
A warm glimpse of Paradise
Meets eyes freshly accustomed
To autumnal greys and glooms.
Speeding across the coast,
Every hairpin spin and turn exposes
Olive-crowned cliffs and mountain peaks.
A sunshiny city on a hill bursts gaiety into vision,
Eyeing the serene, sunlit shore, with blessings galore.

Come and spend
A few quiet moments
in the serene beauty
of the Garden of Love.
As you drink
from the wells
of life-giving water,
you will refresh your soul,
and discern the
amazing beauty
of the landscape
of your life.
You need time
to sit and relax,
feel the breeze,
smell the flowers,
laugh and sing.
You need time
to break free
from the pressures
of daily life,
to find sheer pleasure
in watching the sunset
or walking quietly
in the serene beauty
of the Garden of Love.
A beautiful garden is
a soul-refreshing haven
for comfort and peace.
Walk blissfully around
to watch the flowers,
as the birds soar up high,
and you revel in the
creative work of nature.
Your heart is warmed
by the soothing effect
of your Garden of Love.

I gazed out of my window
at the vast expanse of garden,
the freshly-mowed lawn,
soft-green carpet grass.
Was it a mirage?
I saw a speck of pink
waving in the wind.
A vivid dot of blue
cast a cheery note
of bright-faced optimism
across the yard.
Colourful crocuses,
blue, yellow, pink.
Little bright faces,
bobbing in the wind.
As I gazed at
the pretty crocuses,
my faith bloomed
for a lifetime.
God loves to paint
an inspiring picture
hidden in the heart
of a beautiful garden.

The beauty of nature
is unlimited and free.
It takes the ordinary
and presents it to us
in an inspiring way,
casting an elegance,
and magnificence
over everything.
Soft sunsets, brilliant sunrises,
thundering ocean waves,
cascading waterfalls,
trees in the forest,
beautiful flowers
growing in a field.
Snow-capped mountains,
deep canyons, volcanoes,
beautiful beaches.
Nature often has
amazing gifts to give,
Sight and sounds
to dazzle and inspire.
It fills us with awe
and we wonder at
the soft fragrance
and inspiring beauty
of this world of ours,
God’s divine creation.
